The President of Brazil, Luiz Inacio "Lula" Da Silva, will meet with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, during an official visit in the framework of the G20 summit on November 20. The meeting will take place at the Palácio da Alvorada, the official residence of the president in Brasília, where they will discuss matters related to the bilateral relationship between both countries.

Xi Jinping will begin his visit in Peru to participate in the leaders' summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) from November 10 to 16. He will then head to Brazil to attend the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro on November 18 and 19. In addition to the summits, the Chinese president will make official visits to Peru and Brazil at the invitation of their respective leaders, Dina Boluarte and Lula Da Silva.

This visit by Xi Jinping marks the strengthening of relations between China, Peru, and Brazil. Both South American countries have seen an increase in cooperation with China, such as the Chancay port project in Peru and the revitalization of ties with Brazil since Lula's return to power after years of tensions with his predecessor, Jair Bolsonaro. Xi Jinping's visit seeks to continue promoting collaboration between China and Latin America in various aspects.
